Discover Datai Bay - Langkawi
Datai Bay is a long strip of land that is normally reserved for two resorts, but you can also enjoy a few of their activities. Datai Bay lies in the northwest corner of Langkawi Island and proclaims to have the most exclusive golf resort on the island--the Datai Bay Golf Resort. Nevertheless, if you're the kind of traveller that enjoys discovering new things, then Trip Guru can suggest a visit to the Datai Bay.
On the way to the beach, you can visit a crocodile farm, where you can watch nearly 1,000 crocodiles and alligators come together--something not many people can claim to have done in their lives. You can also visit their feeding pond and bravely throw the hungry crocs a portion of their meat for the day. And when you're finished with your trip, you get to keep an authentic crocodile's tooth after paying the entrance fee. While not for everybody, adventurous tourists will surely find the adrenaline rush entertaining.
Tucked away between the Mat Cincang mountain range and the vast Andaman Sea, The Datai Bay Golf Course is highly recommended and is one of the top golf courses in the entire country. With its luxurious green lawns and beautiful, serene atmosphere, it's the perfect way to relax while brushing up on your golf skills. Afterwards, you can also try out the enjoyable Mandara Spa, which has different ways of soothing one's tired mind and body: from aromatherapy to massages and herbal scrubs, there's something for just about anyone looking for that perfect spa treatment whilst admiring nature. There’s no better way to fully unwind the weary traveller’s body, so that you’re ready for more exciting adventures.
