Discover Seminyak nightlife - Bali

Overview

Seminyak is located next to the North of Legian and it is known to be Bali’s most fashionable beach. With its surroundings riddled with exquisite resorts, fine restaurants, and vibrant boutiques, it is no surprise that a lot of travelers come here to get a taste of Indonesian sophistication. This ambiance  resonates from sunrise to sunset, and when people are looking for a great way to spend the evening, Seminyak offers amazing spots that can really show you how to party in the nightlife.

Shanghai Baby, is a sophisticated cocktail bar with elegant clientele and lounge music. It is the ideal place for a happy hour to warm-up the night. La Favela, with its tropical style, is one of the most on trend night venues of the moment. A mix of tourists, locals, and Bali-based expats crowd the club every night. The Single Malt Bar in Iza Hotel is the place for those who take their whiskey seriously. They feature a wide selection of whiskeys and is not shy with their week-long promos. Its décor is inspired by the classy, gentleman’s club, and features live DJs playing everything from the blues to modern techno. The Mint Bar might be new to the area, but it is gradually becoming the watering hole for those who still have the energy to party on. It is the perfect place to grab that last shot to cap the night whilst listening to the tunes brought by international guest DJs. The Mozaic Beach Club is another great spot to spend the night away, but unlike most establishments this club offers two different dining scenes. You have a choice to sit back and relax at a poolside bar and lounge, or enjoy a cocktail or two at the sophisticated private dining restaurant near the blue tiled pool. Other must go places are Potato Head Beach Clud, Kudeta and W Retreat. All of them have amazing gardens facing the ocean, unique food selections, and wonderful sunset views. Ideal for happy hour!

From Bali’s City Center, it will take about 30 to 40 minutes using taxis available and it will cost around 60,000 Rupiah or more. Alternatively, there are buses in Bali City Center going to Kuta and from Kuta, there are taxis to transfer to Seminyak. Walking or renting a motorcycle are the only options to get to Seminyak’s nightlife spots.

Establishments, like the Single Malt Bar, open as early as 6:00 pm and close around 1:00 to 2:00 am. Although Seminyak does not exude the typical party atmosphere, Trip Guru would like to remind future visitors to remain cautious of their surroundings. There are a lot of sellers who might push you to buy something. It is better to politely refuse them to not cause any unnecessary inconveniences.

Most of the expatriates hang out here and I can see why. The beats here are more cutting the edge and that is just my style. Not to mention that the drinks are definitely a higher quality than other places I’ve been too. The night rolls on and the drinks .. you’re just downing them till you don’t know what side of the road you should drive on.. Bali has it all.. Love it!
