Ferries leave around 8:30 to 10:00am and 1:30 to 2:30pm. Speedboats, on the other hand, are more flexible because they can be hired for private use.
What our experts tell about this experience.
It's the second time that I've visited Phi Phi. I was here in 2014 and I feel like the cleanliness had dropped. I myself ain't a neat person but I do care for the environment. It's still on the level of acceptance though. The waters are still nice. The fine sand between my toes were still the same feeling. Experienced diving for the first time and was amazing. So overall I still do like the island!
Phi Phi Island is surely for partying but no one really admires the day time activities anymore! I sure did though. Went snorkeling saw a whole lot of fish that I've never seen before and had lots of fun with the tour guide! Had some tasty Thai dishes and the chef even gave me a Foreign style recipe on how to make it! ( He was scared that my mates and I would be in the bathroom all day and night if it was too spicy) The island has sure became a big hit on tourist attraction but it really is worth the sight for the beautiful fish and the waters!
I had the most relaxing time in the Phi Phi islands. It was like my escape from the city. Between the two islands, Phi Phi Leh was my favorite. There weren’t a lot of people and it was just me and the sea the whole time.
