Starting with an early call time, we&rsquo;ll pick you up from your accommodation before beginning the 3-hour journey northeast. We&rsquo;ll have a quick stop at The Birder&rsquo;s Lodge to grab some coffee before heading to one of the largest national parks in Thailand.

At Khao Yai National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we&rsquo;ll traverse one of the many nature trails, admiring the local flora and fauna. As it is one of the oldest national parks in the country, you&rsquo;ll find all kinds of animals &ndash; from mammals and reptiles to birds and insects &ndash; in the area. If we&rsquo;re really lucky, we may just spot a herd of elephants nearby.

After lunch, during June-March, we&rsquo;ll trek to Haew Suwat Waterfall and Haew Narok Waterfall, two of the park&rsquo;s most picturesque bodies of water. We&rsquo;ll marvel at the cool cascades, snap photos of the lush scenery, and take a quick respite before making our way back to Bangkok.

(Please note that swimming and bathing are strictly prohibited at any of Khao Yai National Park&#39;s waterfalls, including Haew Suwat Waterfall and Haew Narok Waterfall)

For itinerary during April to May (Dry season):

After lunch, we&rsquo;ll follow a nature trail and walk along the winding paths, taking in the lovely natural scenery. Our knowledgeable guide will point out some of the park&rsquo;s most enchanting features, and if we&rsquo;re lucky, we&rsquo;ll even be able to see some friendly creatures. After the hike, we&rsquo;ll arrive at the Nong Phak Chi Observation Tower. Climb to the top and get a bird&rsquo;s eye view of the beautiful landscape below.
