GETTING THERE
Book a tour to Nusa Penida or head to Sanur and take the traditional public boat, the jukung, which will take 90 minutes and cost you upwards of IDR40,000. You can also take a speedboat which will be more expensive but will only take less than an hour to reach the island. If you want to take your own vehicle, ferries go from Padang Bai in northeast Bali to Nusa Penida.
