About
Calling all foodies!
The Chao Fah Pier Night Market—also known as the Krabi Night Market— is a heavenly destination to lose yourself to local Thai cuisine. In the evening, you’ll be picked up at your hotel and transported to the Krabi Night Market where you’ll enjoy unlimited (I repeat, UNLIMITED) food as part of this nightly tour.
While during the day the Chao Fah Pier is an easily missed parking lot, at night it blossoms with local stalls selling everything from hot and spicy fishcakes drizzled in chili jam to sweet mango and sticky rice for dessert. In other words, this little market is every food lover’s dream.
The Krabi Night Market stretches out over 200 meters of road selling nothing but food, beverages and sweets (we suggest the fresh coconut puddings). Food stalls here are teeming with tourists, locals and foreigners alike who come to try such Thai specialties as the yellow chicken biryani, charcoal-grilled squid skewers and cold noodle salad with fish curry dressing.
While there are plenty of specialized shops to choose from, we recommend eating at one of the many made-to-order stalls that whip up fresh food on the spot. After eating and drinking your way through the night market, you and your satiated appetite will be whisked away to your hotel for a good night sleep (also known as a food coma).
