Our first stop will be the Maeklong Railway Market. Called &lsquo;Talat Rom Hup&rsquo; which roughly means &lsquo;umbrella pulldown market&rsquo;, it is famous for the vendors&rsquo; mad scramble to pack up when a train goes by. We&rsquo;ll explore and hopefully see the train pass before making our way to our next stop the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.

One of the more famous floating markets in the city, it is made up of a network of narrow canals dotted with vendors paddling their boats filled with their wares. After stuffing our bellies full of tasty Thai food, it&rsquo;s off to see some temples. First up is Wat Phra Kaew (also known as Temple of the Emerald Buddha), one of the country&rsquo;s most sacred temples.
