“It was worth the 4am start just to avoid the worst of the day’s heat. Once it hits 12pm, it becomes unbearable. A half day tour to this and a couple other temples was plenty for us.”Maria, New York (USA)

After Angkor Wat, we’ll tour the beautiful Bayon Temple, taking pictures of some of the many stone faces on its towers. The temple’s inner gallery features many detailed carvings that depict everyday life for the Angkorian Khmer, while the outer gallery exhibits depictions of Hindu mythology.

Following this, we will proceed to the world famous Ta Prohm Temple. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for the huge trees growing out of the ruins, and its jungle atmosphere. We’ll explore the largely forested area and take photos by the famous silk-cotton and strangler fig trees before heading back to your hotel.
