About
Ambassador Row and Malay villages: After picking you up from your accommodation, we’ll drive along the KL outskirts, passing the impressive Ambassador Row (Kuala Lumpur's embassy district) and traditional Malay villages. We’ll soon arrive at our first stop...
Royal Selangor: One of the most enjoyable and lesser-known attractions in KL is this pewter factory responsible for crafting jewellery, gifts and homeware since 1885. Even the famous Petronas Towers are made of 7,062 pewter tanks! Browse the Vistor;s Centre to learn how this factory shaped the face of modern-day KL.
Batik Factory: Next, we’ll learn about the history of batik whilst watching it being produced. This style of patterned cloth originated in Indonesia and is now popular in Malaysia, too. Pick up some souvenirs to remember your trip!
‘‘Probably the coolest thing we have done so far in KL.’’ — Andrew, USA
Batu Caves Kuala Lumpur: The most iconic image from Kuala Lumpur is of these vibrant rainbow-coloured stairs leading up to an enormous gold statue of Murugan, the Hindu goddess of war. This imposing statue measures 42 metres in height and protects a series of stunning limestone caves which you can explore after climbing the 272 stairs leading up to them. As well as being a fascinating cultural stop, it’s the best place in Kuala Lumpur to snap photos!
