During the course of the day, you’ll experience the best of the Atherton Tablelands including Josephine Falls, a 192m cascade nestled in the heart of the tropical rainforest. Once you’ve taken a dip and snapped photos to your heart’s content, we’ll continue to Millaa Millaa Falls, a heritage-listed plunge waterfall.

At Lake Eacham, we’ll explore the volcanic crater, also listed on the World Heritage Wet Tropics of Queensland.

We’ll also see the famous Curtain Fig Tree, a massive strangler known for its hanging branches. The heritage-listed giant is unique for its extensive aerial roots, which drop 15 meters to the forest floor, forming a 'curtain'.

Depending on the weather and other factors, other possible stops may include Malanda Falls, Tchupala Falls, Babinda Boulders and more.

While the itinerary will be action-packed, we’ll also take three breaks, stopping for locally-sourced tea and plunger coffee (none of the cheap instant variety), a tasty spread of picnic foods for lunch and an afternoon snack of Aussie Tim Tams and fresh fruit. Get ready for a day of beautiful views, delicious food, engaging conversation and general good times!

“Had a fantastic day... The tour was very organized, with well-timed stops, the right amount of information and good food breaks. Our tour guide clearly knows the area and I appreciated her awareness of the environment and indigenous culture, as well as the humorous way she conveyed information.” Eva, USA
