  • Take in the stunning natural beauty of Dos Ojos
  • Swim and snorkel with the colorful fishes in the cavernous Gran Cenote

About

Besides the beaches of Cancun and the ruins of Coba and Tulum, another bucket list site to visit while in the Yucatan Peninsula are cenotes. These natural sinkholes, some located in centuries old caves, are a must see! Join us on this full day adventure as we take you to two of our favorites!

We’ll begin the day’s adventure by picking you up before making our way to the first cenote, Dos Ojos. Translated to mean ‘Two Eyes’, this cenote is actually a flooded cave system that connects two cenotes, hence the name. We’ll explore this beautiful passageway – Dos Ojos actually holds the record for the deepest underwater passageway – take photos of the stunning scenery, and take a dip in the refreshing crystal clear waters before heading to the next cenote.

“The most beautiful cenote I have ever visited. Crystal clear water and beautiful rock formations, everyone who works there was super nice. This is a MUST if you visit the Riviera Maya.” – JP, Mexico

The Gran Cenote is another famous cenote in Mexico. This cavernous sinkhole is made up of a collection of caves and caverns that are flooded with water. You can rent some snorkeling equipment and jump into the cool clear waters to paddle around with the colorful fishes.

“Definitely worth the visit! Beautiful place.” – Eshness, Netherlands
