Discover the history and culture of the ancient Mayan civilization in this full day tour that will start off with an early exploration of the Chichen Itza ruins, followed by a quick tour of the quaint town of Piste, and a dip in Cenote Ik Kil.

We&rsquo;ll start our adventure with an early pick up from Cancun and/or Playa del Carmen. This will allow us to beat the crowds and the heat once we arrive at the ancient ruins of Chichen Itza. We&rsquo;ll go on a guided tour of the once bustling complex, learning about the rich history, religion, culture, and daily life of the Maya.

Following our informational walk around the Mexican pyramids, you&rsquo;ll have some free time to wander around, gazing at the spectacular stone carvings, and taking photos by the glorious steps of the ruins. Then we&rsquo;ll board our comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and leave right before the morning gets too warm and the crowds increase.

We&rsquo;ll head to the charming town of Piste and have a quick look around before we make our way to Cenote Ik Kil. Archaeologists claim that this natural pit and sinkhole was once a place used by the Maya to pray to the rain god Chaac. We&rsquo;ll marvel at its stunning views, take photos of the turquoise waters and lush vegetation, and maybe squeeze in a quick dip before going for lunch.

After filling our bellies with some local food, we&rsquo;ll board our vehicle once more and make our way back to Cancun and Riviera Maya with nothing but knowledge and memories to remember our adventure by.&nbsp;
