About
Want to discover Da Nang, Vietnam as you like? Build your own customizable itinerary and tailor your day according to what you want to do and see. The most popular sites below are a good place to start:
Marble Mountains: This cluster of five limestone cliffs located south of Da Nang are named after the five elements. Marvel at these mystical caves with built-in pagodas and admire the sweeping views of the city and sea from viewpoints above.
Linh Ung Pagoda (Lady Buddha): With 17 floors – each dedicated to the ‘she’ Buddha – and standing at 67 meters high, Linh Ung is the tallest Buddha statue in Vietnam. Explore the surrounding tranquil grounds with an impressive display of life-sized statues, snap a few photos by the imperial entrance, and take in the impressive statue of the Lady Buddha.
Museum of Cham Sculpture: The Cham dynasty heavily influenced southern and central Vietnam, ruling over the area for several millennia. Though small, this museum holds the largest collection of Cham artifacts in the world. With over 300 pieces that date as far back as the 5th century, we’ll walk through the different exhibits taking in the many sandstone sculptures with their heavily Hindu-influenced styles.
“This is an amazing collection of beautiful pieces of carving and art. A must see.” — Perry, USA
Con Market/Han Market: If you want to try tasty Vietnamese food from a selection of 2,000+ stalls selling everything and anything, opt for the Con Market. If souvenirs are what you’re after, the Han Market is known for vendors who sell everything from dried fruit and cheap clothing to local knick knacks.
Dragon Bridge: Spanning approximately 200 meters end to end, and named aptly because it is shaped in the form of a dragon, this impressive bridge is a sight to behold. If you visit during weekend nights, you just might catch the dragon spewing plumes of fire and water from its head. Where else in the world will you see a dragon doing that?
My Khe Beach: This scenic beach with a never-ending shoreline is perfect if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Walk along the sandy shores, take a dip in the azure waters, grab local snacks at a nearby kiosk, or simply relax at the shoreline.
“One of the most beautiful beaches I've been to. Very clean and relaxing. Best for people to relax.” — AK, Spain
