Start your day fresh with an 8.30am pick-up after breakfast at your hotel (if you can wake up for that&hellip;!). Remember, the sun rises (and sets) early in these parts: make the most of your daylight.

After being shuttled via private van to the boat terminal, you&rsquo;ll board a traditional bangka (outrigger pumpboat) to the Hilutungan Island Marine Sanctuary. It will take around 35-45 minutes to get there. If you want to take the meaning of &lsquo;day drinking&rsquo; literally, why not start here? Drinks (water, juice, coke, beer) are unlimited on the boat, as long as supplies last.

If you&rsquo;re not quite ready to get on the alcohol yet, sit back and enjoy the breeze. This might be a better idea if you&rsquo;re to last the whole day shuttling around on a wooden boat. Soak in the saltiness, and peer at the islets you pass. In case you were wondering, the Philippines is made up of 7,107 islands during high tide. (7,641&nbsp;if you want to be nitpicky, according to the <a href="http://opinion.inquirer.net/102845/from-7107-to-7641">latest</a> from UNCLOS).

You might be casually starving after getting your fill of the colourful underwater creatures &nbsp;at Hilutungan (giant clams! Multicolored starfish!). Good thing you&rsquo;ve got lunch at Nalusuan next. Expect standard Filipino dishes to be served (think: sinigang, liempo, grilled fish&hellip; you get the picture). Full disclosure: one round of drinks is free at Nalusuan; however, as per island rules, anything you order in excess will be charged. You can then choose to either relax and digest all that food, or snorkel some more. Who knows what different corals and fish species you might find in this part of the water?

Finally, you will reach your furthest destination of the day: Pandanon Island, closer to Bohol on the east than Cebu&rsquo;s main island. If it&rsquo;s your lucky day, a pod of dolphins might decide to swim and jump alongside your boat on the hour-long journey there. At Pandanon, the white sand bar is the main attraction. However, if you&rsquo;re in a rush (or would rather focus on the first two sanctuaries), you may choose to skip this option as the first two islands make up the true appeal of the&nbsp;tour.
