<p>From the meet-up point, participants will travel to one of the ancient structures built during the Angkor period, the West Baray. This is one of the first reservoirs meant to provide water to the ancient empire&rsquo;s people. The route also takes you across the scenic Siem Reap countryside where you&rsquo;ll get to see and visit the surrounding villages. Our guides are accommodating and will be happy to show you around these local farming communities. The second half of the trip involves a kayak ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, where you&rsquo;ll see the floating houses and the fishermen that live in it. If the water level is high enough, you can explore a mangrove forest before setting out for the open lake. It&rsquo;s a fun challenge for those who want to test their physical endurance.</p>
