Love history and want to uncover the stories of the ancient Maya people? Even if you’re not a history buff, this full day tour at the historical Tulum and ancient ruins of Coba will leave you marveling at the great civilization that had lived thousands of years ago.

We’ll begin our adventure with a seamless pick up from your accommodations. From there, we’ll head to Tulum and enter the archaeological zone to see the pyramid-shaped structures up close. We’ll enlist the knowledge and expertise of a federal guide and learn about the fortress that was built by its ancient inhabitants, dating as far back as 564 A.D.

After soaking up all the stories and secrets of the Maya people, we’ll have some free time to take pictures of the gorgeous scenery and majestic-looking temples. We’ll then board our comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and make our way to our next stop, the Coba ruins.

Dubbed as one of the most important ruin sites on the Yucatan Peninsula, the Coba ruins were once the center of a buzzing mecca, with archaeologists claiming that the city once had more than 50,000 inhabitants!

We’ll listen to our guide weave the rich tapestry of Coba’s history before we get some free time to wander around the fantastic site. We’ll end the tour with a delicious local lunch before heading back to your accommodations in Cancun and Playa del Carmen.
