Go on an adventure like no other as you board a hot air balloon and get a breathtaking bird’s eye view of the mythical Teotihuacan ruins.

To start the day’s adventure, we’ll pick you up from your accommodation at the crack of dawn in order to get the best optimal viewing experience. We’ll travel via a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to the Globoport to begin the hot air balloon ride. You’ll go through a short safety briefing before you board the hot air balloon with a trusted and certified hot air balloon pilot.

Good weather conditions permitting, you’ll rise into the sky and glide through the air with the spectacular Teotihuacan landscape beneath you. Marvel at the majestic ruins and silhouettes of the grand pyramids while breathing in the fresh mountain air.

After about an hour in the sky, you’ll gently land back down and partake in a delicious local breakfast. With bellies full of delicious food, we’ll make our way to the Teotihuacan Archaeological Zone and explore this historical complex up close.

We’ll wander around the Aztec ruins learning about the history of the once mighty empire and see the famous Pyramids of the Sun and Moon. Then we’ll visit an obsidian workshop – the area is famous for its production of crystallized rocks – and see a local Teotihuacan family craft tools and artifacts from stone.
