With an itinerary that includes up to six islands to hop on, this tour packs in the most punch out of our Palawan itineraries. We’ve combined the best of Tours A and Tour C in case you want to fast track your exploration and get more in less time.
“We were stunned by all that we saw in those days, and my soul is still there although I have already left.” – Jess L., Taiwan
Snorkel in the inlets of Miniloc Island and relax in the crystal clear waters of Big Lagoon and Secret Lagoon. Some say, however, that Small Lagoon is the best stop of Tour A as you can rent a kayak and paddle into heaven on earth. The real adventure is canoeing on your own, surrounded by towering cliffs and glimpsing the coral below.
The gorgeous stretch of beach on Shimizu Island is up next, where you will learn the tragic story behind its name. Confident swimmers can head towards the rock edge for a better view of the abundant corals. Next is Seven Commandos Beach, supposedly named after seven shipwrecked fellows who may or may not have ended up as you will, chilling with a coconut and swimming in the clear blue waters. Try to spot turtles when you swim in, before moving onto the dazzling white sands of Helicopter Island.
Get out of the water for a bit at Matinloc Island, one of the last frontiers of Palawan facing the endless horizon of the West Philippine Sea. Here you can visit the grounds of an old convent among other religious relics, tracing the Philippines’ Catholic roots. Once you get back from exploring, you might be delighted to find that your crew has cooked you a delicious buffet onboard with grilled fish, chicken or pork, rice and tropical fruit.
The tour restarts at Secret Beach, named as you cannot enter during the high tide. Star Beach, meanwhile, has been acclaimed for its wonderful reef wall only 4-6 feet below: a snorkeler / diver’s paradise. Finally, you’ll end the day at Hidden Beach, a hotspot of lush vegetation, white sand and clear waters.

I had a blast here in El Nido. The place is just gorgeous, and the guides were super nice. The islands were spectacular, and the fishes I saw during my snorkeling session were all so cute. This trip definitely reinvigorated my love for the beach. I have to do this again sometime soon.
