Located on the shoreline of the Bosphorus Strait, Arnavutkoy is home to many historic buildings, Ottoman mansions, and quaint restaurants. The most famous of the buildings being the prestigious Robert College. Wander around the area and take in the buildings and architecture before heading to our next stop.

Up next is the Rumeli Fortress. This medieval fortress was commissioned by Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II in the mid-1400s as part of his campaign to capture Constantinople. It took more than 3,000 people to build this massive fortress in just four months! Today, the fortress is now an open-air museum that also hosts events such as concerts and festivals.

After marveling at the impressive Rumeli Fortress, we&rsquo;ll head to the Ataturk Arboretum. This tranquil oasis in the northern part of the city is every nature lover&rsquo;s dream.
