If you've always wanted to explore and experience Saigon, but have no idea where to start, Trip Guru can help out with one of our guided tours. Saigon offers beautiful sights with their French colonial architecture and delicious food from the bustling Ben Thanh Market, sure to make photographers and tourists very happy.
Enjoy the beautiful Saigon skyline while you eat breakfast served on a boat, energizing yourself for the adventures that lie within the city. A traditional cyclo can take you along the "Herbal Medicine Street," full of open-fronted shops that have stood there since the French era. If you'd like to purchase fine fabrics, you can pay the Soai Kinh Lam fabric market a visit and enjoy choosing fabrics from nearly 500 stalls, all at wallet-friendly prices. Sightseeing would not be complete without a visit to the historical Cha Tam church. Built in the 1900s, the church is decorated with lacquer boards and wooden panels etched with inscriptions, similar to the surrounding Chinese-style temples. So come along with us and enjoy 3 hours of exploring the very best that the city has to offer.
- Your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and bring you by car to the city pier.
- Depart from the pier & enjoy your breakfast on boat.
- Cyclo ride through the “Herbal Medicine Streets”, the fabric market, Cha Tam church & Binh Tay market.
- Cruise back to the pier and the car will drop you off at your hotel.
At first I wasn't sure about it, but as the day wore in I found myself enjoying a beautiful Saigon morning. The architecture is beautiful, I just had to take a few photos of nearly everything to see and do there. All in all it was an enriching experience, I especially liked Herbal Medicine Street!
I nearly swooned when I saw all the choices for fabric! They were all high-quality and didn't cost a lot, and taking a trip to visit Saigon was definitely better than just wandering about. When we visited the Cha Tam Church, there was a sense of peace and serenity that I loved. The three hours just flew by, it was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this tour to friends and family.
