Also on the itinerary is Paronella Park, a heritage-listed oasis on the banks of Mena Creek. Open since 1934, this site was the vision of Jose Paronella who dreamt of creating his own paradise &ndash; a wish he fulfilled with this 5-hectare park containing 7,500 species of plants, a picnic area and even a castle!
