Elephant Sanctuary Phuket Tour - Half Day

Jungle, mountain, sea – Phuket allows you to experience all three. The best part: you can have them all while learning how to protect one of Thailand’s most threatened animals. There are only a few thousands elephants left in the country. Animal jungle sanctuaries are a great way to combat the dangers of elephant tourism and responsibly travel while spending time with these gentle creatures. This kind of tour maximizes your quality time by bringing you as close to their home as ethically possible, which fortunately also provides the best view.

First, we travel by road. You will be picked up for an hour-long drive through some diverse scenic landscapes before arriving at the sanctuary, where you will meet your guide. Your guide will accompany you throughout the day, giving insights on the elephants and how to take care of them. This is the person you want to direct all your questions to.

Your guide will then walk you through the jungle sanctuary and introduce you to each of the elephants and their stories so you can be more intimately acquainted. Get to know each other – and get dirty – at the nearby mud spa, where you will treat the elephants to a healthy mud treatment. Shower off at the river with a refreshing bathe and swim. These elephants love to play.

You have some time to take some gorgeous scenic photos with your new friends before you part ways. End the tour with some snacks back at the sanctuary.
