After taking a whole album&rsquo;s worth of mesmerizing photos of the island&rsquo;s views, we&rsquo;ll make our way to Big Buddha Phuket. Standing 45 meters tall, the gleaming alabaster statue is a famous landmark in the city. Get to the base of the statue and you&rsquo;ll be rewarded with sweeping views of the city as well.

Next up is a visit to Wat Chalong or Chalong Temple. A Phuket temple known as one of the largest and most sacred on the island, it is rumored that a fragment of Buddha&rsquo;s bone can be found in the hall of the grand pagoda. We&rsquo;ll marvel at the numerous golden statues and detailed carvings of the temple before heading to our last stop.

Our last stop for the day will be Phuket Old Town. This famous Portuguese-inspired area houses many colorful old-style shops and even more local vendors selling all kinds of wares. Walk through the streets and take in the local sights and sounds, maybe even go shopping for souvenirs and other memorabilia before we head back to your accommodations happy with the day well spent.
