Looking for Insta-worthy spots to flood your feed with? Take a day trip to the picturesque town of San Miguel de Allende, known for its colorful streets, brilliant architecture, and rich history. At the end of this trip, you’ll have your camera roll chock-full of amazing photos in the city that was named one of the “best cities in the world” in 2017.
We’ll start the day’s adventure with an early pick-up from your accommodation. Settle in the comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle for the next three and a half hours and take in the scenic views as we make our way to the colonial highland town.

Once we reach San Miguel de Allende, we’ll begin the guided walking tour, visiting famous city landmarks such as the Parish of San Miguel Arcangel, Benito Juarez Garden, Chapel of Jimmy Ray, The American Hispanic Academy, The Temple of San Francisco, The Casa de Allende and the Civic Plaza, and the Handicraft market. We’ll discover the city’s beautiful must-see attractions and listen as our guide regales us with stories of its history and charm while snapping photos of you in each location.
After immersing ourselves in the city’s best sites, you’ll have some free time to have lunch and explore the city – maybe buying a few souvenirs or two and snapping even more photos for mementos – before we board our vehicle and make our way back to Mexico City.
