About
Mexico City is one steeped in history and culture. While it’s definitely worth exploring the city’s landmarks and historical buildings during the day, it becomes a completely different experience once the sun sets and the lights come out. Go on this Mexico City night light tour to discover a different side to this awesome city.
We’ll start the tour at 6 pm at The Trail of Light. From there we’ll follow the city lights and check out the Major Tower, the Ritz Carlton Hotel, the Four Seasons Hotel, the Fountain of Diana the Huntress, The Angel of Independence, the Monument to Cuauhtémoc, and the Monument of the Revolution. Feel free to snap photos of the city’s brilliant radiance and listen as your friendly and knowledgeable TripGuru shares a few historical tidbits and stories about some of the sites.
In the next hour, we’ll wander along Hemiciclo a Juárez, view the stunning Palace of Fine Arts, see the outside of the striking Latino Tower, and the magnificent Bank of Mexico. Once the clock hits 8, we’ll move on to see The National Museum of Anthropology, Plaza Tolsa, Frida Kahlo Museum (aka the Blue House), and the House of Tiles.
In our final hour, we’ll wrap up the night by seeing these final spots: the Post Office, National Palace, Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral, and finally, Mayor Temple where we’ll have access to panoramic views of the city lights.
