About

Whether you’re a seasoned home cook or a budding beginner, vegan, vegetarian, or eat anything under the sun, this half day cooking class is a wonderful (and tasty) chance for you to get familiar with and experience Cambodian culture.

Not only will we be cooking traditional Khmer cuisine, we’ll also be visiting the local market to get the ingredients we’ll be using today. We’ll pick out colorful fruit, vegetables, and spices whilst chatting with local vendors with the guidance and insight of our English-speaking instructor.

“The trip to the market was fun and interesting... the cooking class itself was excellent. Our local teacher was a great communicator, and a total professional... fun and easy. The highlight of course was the end when we got to enjoy the fruits of our labor.” Steve, Australia

After buying our fresh ingredients, we’ll then proceed to a traditional Cambodian-style house where we will meet the chef, who will teach and guide us for the preparation of a three-course meal ( appetizer, main course, and dessert). To cap off the class, we’ll get to eat everything we made! Imagine: spending the afternoon sitting and eating out on the terrace, feasting on the delicious meals we home-cooked…

“[They] put a lot of thought into this cooking class. Each step of the process was informative and fun. The atmosphere was very interactive, and the guests who didn't know each other before, left as friends.” Meagan, Canada
