Longshan Temple: Built by Fujian settlers in the early 1700s, this intricately designed and restored temple is our next stop. We&rsquo;ll take in the impressive structure with elaborate stone and wood carvings and see the varied statues of different deities enshrined in its walls. As one of the largest, oldest, and most well known temples in Taiwan, the Longshan Temple is an absolute must in our itinerary.&nbsp;

National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall: Built as an homage to the Father of Taiwan, Dr. Sun Yat-sen, this memorial hall serves as an educational, research, and cultural center for both locals and visitors. We&rsquo;ll head to the main hall to see the popular changing of the guards by the large statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
