Dedicated to the gods of the sea, Tanah Lot dates back over 400 years. Our tour guide will explain the legend surrounding the high priest Dang Hyang Niratha who came to Bali to spread Hinduism. After resistance from the villagers, he moved a large rock into the sea with the power of meditation, or so the story goes. 

Whether it’s true or not, the craggy rock temple out at sea is truly spectacular. Once you’ve snapped your photos, sit back and watch a classic Tanah Lot sunset as the sky turns pink and orange. Can you imagine a better backdrop?
