About

This “only in Tokyo” experience combines the best of Tokyo Disneysea with the age-old traditional Japanese hot spring (onsen). This one-of-a-kind experience literally cannot be found anywhere else in the world, and was thus listed by Lonely Planet within the top 10 things to do when in Japan’s capital.

The bathing and entertainment complex in the Odaiba & Tokyo Bay area is home to both indoor and outdoor baths, with some of the former divided according to gender – as they are in most other onsen(s). Real hot spring water is pumped from 1,400m below Tokyo Bay, promising mineral-based benefits from muscle pain relief to improved skin.

As in any theme park, you can spend the entire day here without getting bored. You don’t have to soak ‘till you’re all prune-like – at the Edo-era town, you can dine at delicious food stalls and play traditional Japanese games that hark back to Tokyo’s beginnings as a shogun’s stronghold.
