<p>If you love history and culture, but also want to see a part of Thailand&#39;s natural beauty, what better way to spend a day then to visit Erawan National Park and the stunning waterfall within it? As an additional bonus, you&#39;ll visit the famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a tragic part of Thailand&#39;s wartime history.</p>

<p>Your day begins at 7 am with a pickup from your hotel. Soon you&#39;ll be on your way to visit the Don Rak War Cemetry, where 6,982&nbsp;of the Allied POWS that perished during the building of the Death Railway in World War 2 are laid to rest. Afterwards, you&#39;ll visit the Bridge over the River Kwai, part of that very same Death Railway, constructed by Allied prisoners of war along with forced labourers from many nations and backgrounds. By 9:45, you will depart for the Erawan Waterfall. Upon your arrival, you are free to enjoy your time taking pictures and wading around the beautiful pool on the second tier of the waterfall, which is the perfect place for a uniquely Thai photo opportunity! Trekking around the park is also a fun activity you may enjoy, and a daytime food market will be open for perusal as well. After this, you&#39;ll have lunch in a restaurant before taking some time to climb up all the way to the 7th level of the waterfall - be aware that it may get slippery on the higher levels, so good hiking shoes (as well as swimming clothes for extra fun!) are recommended for this experience. You&#39;ll start your journey back to Bangkok at about 3:30 pm and end your day safe and sound at your hotel at around 5:30 pm.</p>
