About
A trip to the Yucatan peninsula is not complete without a visit to a few cenotes. In this full day tour, you’ll cycle through the lush jungles of Tulum, taking in the vibrant greenery and swimming in cenotes – beautiful natural swimming holes.
We’ll pick you up from your accommodations nice and early before heading to our meeting point in the Tulum Archaeological Zone. Once we arrive, we’ll have a quick safety briefing before we board our bikes and cycle towards our first stop, the Gran Cenote.
“Amazing place! The Gran Cenote is a beautiful place and worth visiting! There are tons of cenotes in Tulum but this one is a good one!” – Marie
One of the most famous cenotes in the area, the Gran Cenote is made up of a network of interconnected caves and caverns that are filled with water. We’ll have some free time to marvel at, snap photos of, and swim in the incredible sinkhole before we make a quick stop for brunch.
After devouring some delicious and healthy breakfast foods, we’ll make our way to Cenote Cristal. This natural limestone pool in the middle of the jungle, is known for its crystal waters and surrounding vegetation. We’ll take a dip and paddle around in the gleaming water before we make our way to the nearby Cenote Escondido.
“Really enjoyed our experience here. Many fish, clear water, fun jumping, and a tranquil atmosphere. The day we went, almost no one else was around.” – Stephanie, Canada
Unlike its neighbor Cenote Cristal, Cenote Escondido is a narrower outdoor cenote that also extends to an underground cave cenote. We’ll have some free time to take in the surrounding jungle, swim in the refreshing waters, and explore the area before we make our way back to your accommodations in Cancun and Playa del Carmen.
