About

This unique photoshoot experience is guaranteed to be like no other and will leave you with memorable hi-resolution images taken by skilled photographers.

Besides getting amazing photos, this unique experience will allow you to connect with nature in a magical cenote. Cenotes were highly sacred to the Mayan people as they were believed to be the gateway to Xibalba (the underworld). Many traditional rituals and ceremonies were performed by the ancient civilization to ask for rain and good crops.

Before you begin the photo shoot, you’ll attend a briefing and learn some breathing techniques to help you hold your breath longer underwater as well as some tips and tricks to help you relax in the water. Not a confident swimmer? Don’t worry, there are a lot of areas you can hold on to or stand on.

Your photographer will be a professional diving instructor who will help guide you through poses as he takes amazing photos of you in the water. This is great for individuals and couples who are looking for unique, Instagram-worthy mementos.

There will be a quick break in between the photoshoot where you can eat some snacks before diving back into the water to add more photos to your camera roll. Want some video footage? Ask your photographer to take a one-minute video of you swimming in the cenote. You can also ask for additional photos too (with extra charges).
