Did you know that Bali’s cultural landscape was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2012? The province’s five rice terraces and their water temples, dating back to the 9th century, are said to “reflect the world's cultural and natural diversity of outstanding universal value.” This tour whisks you through all the major sites in one day, starting with the 18th-century Royal Water Temple of Pura Taman Ayun. UNESCO claims the latter to be “the largest and most impressive architectural edifice of its type on the island.”
Your private transport will then shuttle you to the Supreme Water Temple of Pura Ulun Danu Bratan on the edge of Lake Bratan. The vistas here will take your breath away, as you stand before the crater lake regarded as the ultimate origin of every spring and river in Bali. Before moving on, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant to energize you for what’s to come.
The Jatiluwih rice terraces are up next, one of Bali’s oldest and best examples of terraced paddy landscape. Local communities still practice sustainable farming here, exhibiting the resilience and vibrancy of Balinese culture. A fiery sunset will be your final reward at the dramatic Tanah Lot Temple, which means ‘land in the sea’ in the local tongue. You will stand before the 16th-century edifice on the edge of the water and soak in the atmosphere where people have been worshipping the sea gods for hundreds of years.
Total distance covered by the private transportation provided is approximately 167 km throughout the day. Jumping on the tour will definitely save you from the logistical nightmare of getting to Bali’s foremost must-see destinations on your own.

The driver was excellent, good value and a very enjoyable day in all
Our driver was the perfect host. Thank you :-)
Nice tour guide
The tour was amazing. Made - our tour guide - knew so much history and spoke very good English! He was so happy and kind. We had the best day!
Great guide, good English, safe driver, genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. Rice terraces were incredible. The temples were beautifully. We could have done without the temple Tanah Lot because it was to touristy for our taste. Bus loads of Chinese and Indian tourists.
Awsome guide and great organization even though I booked just the day before ! Great tour
UNESCO sites are fantastic! Definitely worth the visiting, interesting architecture with interesting history, plus epic sunset at Tanah lot temple, never forget this day!
Absolutely loved my tour! My guide was very friendly and extremely knowledgable, and the sights were unbelievable.
Experienced a very bali style day, the temples were amazing, the rice terrace was amazing, the sunset around the extraordinary Tanah lot temple was super amazing! Our guide is both knowledgeable and funny, must go!
Although Bali has a lot of temples, Pura Taman Ayun and Tanah lot temple are the ones you can Not miss! Very harmony atmosphere around the temple, and fantastic sunset with ‘Land In the Sea’.
Amazing under rated UNESCO site! Learned a lot about the culture and history on the way, gorgeous sunset with the unique Tanah lot temple, it's in the sea! Must go!
I was hesitant at first if the tour will push through because of mt agung’s eruption but all is well & everything went smoothly! :)
Beautiful sunset! Very unique temple located in the sea, never seen one like this before, we took many great photos there. Love this place!
lovely rice terraces, took a lot of interesting photos there, and so impressed by the sunset at Tanah lot temple.
Great day with Trip Guru! Pick us up in the morning, met some interesting guy from different countries, made this trip far more interesting! Nice guide, told us a lot about different temples, and end the tour with fantastic sunset, must-do!
The best part about the trip would have to be the Lewak plantation and after a miscommunication where they didn't get my address change, Ketut coming to pick me up and taking me on a solo tour the same day. The biggest issue was the address miscommunication but they sorted that out quite quickly.
I definitely enjoyed this trip which particularly the visit to coffee site which was so different from other coffee sites i visited previously The temples are pure beauty and were well selected especially when you dont want to waste time this tour showed us abudnance of the best in Bali
The driver was flexible and very knowledgeable about all the attractions I visited.
Very attentive service from start to finish, as most tours seem to be private it's a nice initiative to at least offer the dates up to others. I ended up on my own but my driver was lovely and very chatty.
It was fantastic, one of my best days in Bali.I booked for a group tour, but the other person cancelled one day before and so I got my private tour, which was amazing.I was so glad tripguru did Not cancel on me, as many agencies always 2pax min.Even prior to my trip ,email exchange was always reliable and fast. The driver Nengah, was the most respectful, reliable, decent, punctual and safe driver ever.He even sms-ed me 5 minutes before pick up time in the morning to inform me he is already there. He also gave me interesting insights and answered all my questions about the villages we passed and the Balinese culture. Had the best lunch ever. Overall, a really fantastic , great day and i can only HIGHLY RECOMMEND TheTripGuru !!!
loved the temples, rice terraces, coffee plantation and tanah lot. Not disappointed with any part of the tour.
Very beautiful trip, great car and flexible and nice driver. However, there was no guide per se, we were just walking around the temples on our own. That being said, it is an amazing value for money! Definitely reccomend if you are in Bali! Expect to spend about $30 on top for food and entry tickets etc , which is still unbeatable value for money ;)
The tour was quite flexible and we opted to skip a couple of temples we had already seen to bike around the Jatiluwih rice terraces. That was the highlight of the day! The landscape is amazing.
The rice fields totally took me by surprise, is a magical place and is one of my fav places in the world now. Temples were beautiful as well, this tour is perfect to covers all and on time. No regrets, Totally recommendable!!
Thanks to this tour, I have now ticked off two UNESCO sites off my list. It was fun and easy to go around Bali like this. I learned a lot during this trip, and found out that I like to visit more temples in the future. I did feel a bit sad when our trip ended with a sunset. But I can take this tour again any day.
Didn't think that Bali had UNESCO sites, but when I heard about this tour I had to see it for myself. Clearly I was not disappointed. I learned a lot during my trip here and the sunset at the end was definitely the cherry on top of the whole tour.
