Known as one of the top Australia tourist places and visited by over 6 million people a year, this 400 hectare piece of land is one of the largest inner city parks in the world and one of the top Perth attractions. With a gorgeous view overlooking the city and parts of Swan River, Kings Park is also rich in aboriginal and European history, and has an international reputation for horticulture conservation and education.

How to get there

Located just 1.5 km from Perth’s central business district, Kings Park is easily accessible by public transport. Some Green CAT buses have a Kings Park Road stop along its route, and it is also accessible via train, albeit including a short walk. Cars are also welcome, with lots of space for parking. Alternatively, you could also walk or cycle to the park itself, depending on your starting location.
