With a gorgeous view overlooking the city and parts of Swan River, Kings Park is also rich in aboriginal and European history, and has an international reputation for horticulture conservation and education. 

There are a ton of activities to do, including walking along the pathways, going Perth sightseeing, having a picnic, observing the local fauna and flora, admiring several of the memorials, taking in the breathtaking scenery, and more.

How to get there

Located just 1.5 km from Perth’s central business district, Kings Park is easily accessible by public transport. Some Green CAT buses have a Kings Park Road stop along its route, and it is also accessible via train, albeit including a short walk. Cars are also welcome, with lots of space for parking. Alternatively, you could also walk or cycle to the park itself, depending on your starting location.
