Ladies’ Market Place guide

Running one-kilometer in length, the Ladies Market can be found on Tung Choi Street within the Mongkok Night Market. It’s the ultimate place to practice your haggling skills when bargaining for clothes and accessories for both men and women (the name was inherited from an older iteration of the shopping drag). 

From children’s clothes to styles popular with the older generation, there’s something for shoppers of all ages. Aside from clothes, there are a range of other goods to be found on Ladies Street Hong Kong from bags and accessories to home furnishings, jewelry, and watches. 

The Ladies Market is known for being tightly-packed and crowded, but an atmospheric place to visit in Hong Kong. Clothes and goods spill out over market stalls and are strung-up high above the street while shoppers browse from below. The fast-paced atmosphere and hustle and bustle make it one of Hong Kong’s most visited neighborhoods with thousands of shoppers passing through in a day.

While the focus is on women’s goods, there are also general market goods on sale including fruits, vegetables, tea sets, carvings, Buddha states, silk goods, chopsticks, paintings, souvenirs and antiques. Weary shoppers can stop for a foot massage before carrying on.
