Start with panoramic views of the&nbsp;Waikiki and Honolulu&nbsp;skyline from secret spots, including the Tantalus Lookout. From there, head to the Pali Lookout for a brief history lesson on King Kamehameha and the epic battle of Nuuanu.

After that dose of history, come face-to-face with the Ko&rsquo;olau mountains, followed by the white sands of Waimanalo. We&rsquo;ll then fuel up at Ono Steaks and Shrimp Shack featuring local produce.

The afternoon will leave us breathless from the views at Makapu&rsquo;u Beach Lookout the easternmost point of Oahu, followed by Hanauma Bay &ndash; the island&rsquo;s jewel and snorkeling paradise. In the local language, its name translates to &ldquo;the curved bay&rdquo;.

Next, we&rsquo;ll stop by Sandy Beach Lookout to peek at views of powerful shore breaks and the beautiful stretch of fine sand that lays just beyond the next stop; the famous Halona Blowhole. The formations here were created thousands of years ago when molten lava tubes were formed from volcanic eruptions.
