Lose yourself in Bali’s northern wilderness as you search for the majestic Sekumpul waterfalls. The name means ‘grouped together’ in Bahasa, referring to seven great cascades of up to 80 metres high nestled in the heart of a lush jungle. Trek to the bottom of the falls, where you can wade in the rock pools. Along the way you will discover local flora and fauna such as cacao, lemongrass, and coffee. You will cross rivers on wooden bridges, rice paddies, and hundreds of steps to hidden temples in the midst of the undergrowth(See more in our blog: When in Bali: Waterfall Trekking in the Northern Jungles).
Before lunch you’ll stop by the Twin Lakes of Buyan and Tamblingan, which form part of the island’s volcanic landscape. Enjoy the cooler weather over buffet lunch at the famous Lake Beratan, 1,231 metres above sea level. The iconic Ulun Danu temple sits on the edge of this mountain scenery – you can’t mistake these picturesque shrines by the water, commonly featured in postcards of Bali. Your last stop will be another famous UNESCO Heritage Site, the Taman Ayun Water Temple.

Andy, our driver, was really nice and helpful. We enjoyed our time spent on this trip. Waterfalls are amazing and worth to be seen.
Great view. Nice driver & guide.
The waterfalls was stunning and the jungle trek was amazing, I met one German guy, and 3 American girls in the group, we became good friends and decided to travel together in the following days, made my trip way better than I thought, thanks Guru!
It took a little walk through the jungle to get to the waterfalls, prepare your towel and swim suits for you will definitely want to jump in! That’s so much fun! And our guide helped us protected our camera and took a lot of nice photos, so also don’t forget to take a waterproof case for your camera.
We booked this trip fairly last minute with Trip Guru, but it turned out to be the best day we had in Bali. Beautiful views together with incredible waterfalls! And our guide is very funny. Enjoyed this so much.
Favourite day in Bali with the cool waterfalls. Bring your swimming suits and take care of your camera, we enjoyed the waterfalls so much, and the cute guide helped us find some great spots for photo taking.
Couldn’t recommend this place more! Breathtaking waterfalls, just get in and feel the strong power, clear water extremely fun! Never forget!
What a great experience!! Ulun Danu Beratan Temple was picturesque (missed the masses of tourist as we got there early). The trek and waterfalls were amazing. All made better the guide I had, Nyoman. Nyoman thank you for being so informative and making the tour so pleasant.
A stunningly beautiful destination, and the highlight of this trip to Bali. Make sure you bring your swimwear so that you can swim in the waterfall pools, and wear shoes that are suitable for river crossings and rock-hopping. We only visited one temple (having been templed-out), and the driver took us to a different restaurant than that originally planned as we’re not into buffers as such. The alternative was great - inexpensive but delicious food, sat at tables overlooking gorgeous valley views. Absolutely recommend this tour.
Loved swimming in the waterfalls, my guide was just so welcoming, I am so grateful and thankful for this experience!
I loved our driver! He was so full of knowledge and kindness, and we loved the fact we got to have lunch with a beautiful view.
Waterfalls were absolutely beautiful, well worth the 2 hour drive from Denpasar. The temples were much less so. Crowded and very touristy, with restaurants, gift shops and colorful statues for children to play on, set up right in the temple grounds. Waterfalls felt authentic, temples did not. If you're the only one on your tour I recommend cutting the last two stops of the trip, it will still be worth it.
It was a bit surreal descending into the jungle and seeing the waterfalls from a distance. They were impressive and huge! Unfortunately the cascade was so strong we couldn't swim in the rock pools. Also anyone who does this should BRING JACKETS because the tour takes you around Bali's highlands, which can be cold especially when it rains!
Worth every cent I paid. The hot spring was especially relaxing, and being with devout locals was an entirely new experience. I got to meet new friends along the way, and enjoyed lunch. This was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about different cultures! Took gorgeous photos, all my friends are jealous. We're already looking for a date to book our next trip!
The waterfalls are really beautiful and the trekking trough the forest and crossing the river was fun!
