Nausori Highlands Village Cooking Class & Kava Ceremony (Fiji) – Half Day

Tropical Fiji is about much more than just beaches and island-hopping: the friendly locals have a rich and traditional culture that many tourists to Fiji miss.

We’ll ensure you get properly immersed with this cultural tour of the striking Nausori Highlands. Towering mountains, lush forest and typical straw-lined huts characterise the landscape, while friendly villagers welcome visitors into their culture. We’ll take you touring the region during this morning or afternoon out from Nadi.

On arrival to the local village, we’ll be treated to a traditional Fijian welcome ceremony and have the opportunity to try kava, every local’s favourite earthy beverage.

After touring the village, visiting a local school and chatting with the islanders, you’ll begin an authentic Fijian cooking course thanks to the locals’ culinary knowledge. Tasty meal in belly, we’ll head back to Nadi full of food and stories of local hospitality!
