Up next, we’ll head to Cavusin, one of the oldest Greek settlements in Cappadocia. We’ll stop by St. John the Baptist Church – one of the oldest, largest, and most prestigious cave churches in the area – before heading to Pasabag Valley and Devrent Valley.

“Such interesting rocks and caves. Even if you have seen a lot of caves in Turkey already, these mushroom chimneys are worth seeing.” Patrick, Canada

Both valleys are home to incredible landscapes. While Pasabag is known for its fairy chimneys, Devrent is known for its whimsical, almost animal-looking rock formations. We’ll use our imaginations as we walk around the valley and explore the lunar-esque landscape.

Next, we’ll head to the Red Valley Viewpoint for commanding views of Cappadocia. Snap a few (or a lot!) photos for memorabilia before finishing with a quick exploration of the grounds at the historic Uchisar Castle.
